Beltane also known as Midsummer and May Day is a festival to celebrate the halfway mark from the Spring to Summer Equinox. This is usually celebrated on or around May 1st.

Beltane is a Celtic word which means 'fires of Bel' (Bel is a Celtic deity) 'Bel', meaning 'the bright one', and the Gaelic word 'teine', meaning fire. Every candle will come with a set of instructions.
