Samhain Ritual Candle - Apothecary Jar

$39

Samhain (usually pronounced sah-win or sow-in) takes place on October 31st every year and is considered to be the Witch’s New Year. It is a pagan religious festival originating from an ancient Celtic spiritual tradition, it is to celebrate the *darker half* of the year between the fall equinox and the winter solstice. You may have heard people saying *the veil is thinning* this is because it is widely believed in the spiritual community that the barriers between the physical world and the spirit world break down during Samhain, allowing more interaction between us and spirits, ancestors, and those on *the other side*. If you want an idea of what type to perform we recommend rituals which honor the ancestors and celebrate the end of the harvest and the cycle of life, death and rebirth. You can also, practice divination work, and present offerings to the fae folk. THESE CANDLES COME WITH LENGTHY INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDELINES ON HOW TO USE YOUR CANDLE FOR RITUAL PURPOSES.

These candles have a mix of scents mainly of which are pumpkin, apple, rosemary, and sage. They smell traditionally like Fall but also earthy and sweet.

The herbs in your candle may catch fire. NEVER burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc. Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets.

NEVER burn a candle unsupervised - NEVER burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time

DO NOT attempt to eat/consume your candle or any crystals/herbs on the candles - DO NOT POUR WAX ON YOUR SKIN

Candles should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. It is recommended that after burning for four hours, candles be extinguished, allowed to cool for two hours, and trimmed before relighting.Trim candlewicks to ¼ inch each time before burning.

Stop burning your candle when there is ½ inch of wax remaining.

IMPORTANT: If your candle is in a vintage glass and not in a classic candle jar PLEASE be cautious of your burn time. Depending on the circumference of your glass we recommend burning your candle in 2-3 hour intervals to avoid damage or breakage to your glass. If your glass is vintage and has a tapered/smaller bottom such as a martini glass, breakage is more likely as the circumference of the glass gets thinner, to avoid damage burn candles for short amounts of time (1-2 hours). To clean out your candle jar for repurposing we recommend washing it in HOT water with soap, for difficult stuck on wax you may place your candle either in the freezer or in the oven at the LOWEST setting to melt excess wax and pour it out safely using precautions such as an oven-mitt to not burn yourself. We are not responsible for broken or damaged glass once the candle has been scanned as safely delivered by the shipping carrier.
