This herbal pillow acts as a curse/hex removal or a return to sender spell. The use of this sachet in spellwork takes any negative workings, evil eye, ill will, or malintention and reflects it back upon the sender. The herbs within this pillow have been intentionally chosen for their use in curse/hex breaking, banishing, and protection. Use this sachet as instructed, intuitivley, or in addition to other return to sender or curse removal workings. This pillow is stitched with intention, and features a hand cut and printed original linocut design.

This sachet is based on historical curse removal/reversal spell known as “pierced hearts. If one believed they or their livestock were cursed, they would remove the heart of one of their livestock who had died due to said curse and pierce it with needles or pins. They believed that this act would cause harm to befall the curse caster until they reversed the magical act.

instructions:

Cleanse your space, heart pillow, and pins with your desired cleansing method (smoke, sound, etc.). If you wish to cast a circle now would be the time. Meditate or take some deep breaths. Hold the heart and focus on any negativity that you feel may have been sent your way. Visualize the sender of the negative energy (if they are known) and the actions/words that caused or sent the curse/hex/energy sent your way. Imagine the stale energy of the evil eye, negativity, curse/hex, as a dark cloud shifting from around you and your space and into the heart pillow. Feel the pillow pulsating with this charged energy like the beating of a heart. Pick up your pins, you can use as many or few as you would like. Breathe deeply, as you exhale pierce the heart with a pin pushing that energy outwards and back to its source. With each pin direct more of that energy until you feel none remains. Feel the heart, lighter and renewed, visualize the positive energy surrounding you and your space. You may leave the heart on your altar for some time, or disassemble and cleanse it so it is ready for its next use.
